This ring is inspired by the Chinese concept of Yin and Yang, which represents the two opposing forces that brought order to the universe from chaos. Beyond its cosmic significance, this duality also reflects the inner contrasts within every human being, such as the coexistence of light and dark, strength and vulnerability, which shape our thoughts, actions, and daily lives. It embodies these seemingly opposing ideas, demonstrating that harmony and contrast are not contradictions but complementary forces.
Eleonora Federici’s goal was to reinvent the classic bypass ring by giving its two parts distinct curves with varying heights and inclinations. She sought to create a piece that is both innovative and elegant. Most importantly, she wanted it to be truly eye-catching, a design that stands apart from the many bypass rings commonly seen. The interplay of pearls, asymmetric movement, and dual rhodium finish embodies the harmony of contrasts, making this ring a bold yet timeless statement.
This ring is designed as an extension of the wearer, merging fluidity with structure. Its asymmetric curves and dynamic movement create a continuous interplay of light and shadow, evolving with every gesture. The carefully balanced weight ensures a comfortable fit, preventing rotation while enhancing a sense of natural harmony.
